Time to Help People and Save Lives

Earlier this month, the hardworking and talented CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant students in Mrs. Cavazos’ class took their exams to become certified CCMAs. Approximately 30 students passed their test and are now certified CCMAs. This means they are clinical medical assistants that partake in daily operations of medical facilities and clinics. Some examples of their duties might include answering phone calls and scheduling appointments, recording and updating patient medical histories and measuring and recording vital signs, just to name a few. Students, congratulations on all of your hard work! La Feria ISD is proud of you and we wish the best of luck in your future.
