Dominguez- Regional Chess Tournament

Our Noemi Dominguez Knights Chess recently participated at the 2023-2024 Regional Chess Tournament that was held at Veterans ECHS in Brownsville and due to their hard work and effort, the team was able to place in two different divisions which included the Elementary Championship and the Elementary J.V. Division.

Our teams competed against Elementary Schools from Brownsville, Los Fresnos, San Benito, and Harlingen. In the Elementary Championship, our team placed 12th, and our Elementary J.V. Team placed 9th. Both teams are now able to compete at the 2024 South Texas Chess Tournament that will be held this year at the U.T.R.G.V. campus in Edinburg on March 16th and 17th. Good Luck Noemi Dominguez Knights.
