Mission:
LA FERIA ISD is committed to providing health services for each student and staff. School nursing involves identification, assessment, prevention, and intervention to remedy or modify students' health needs. School nurses strengthen and facilitate the educational process by improving and protecting the health status of children and modification of health related barriers to the learning process for individual children. Our goal is to promote the optimum health of students and the student's abilities to achieve their individual educational goals. In collaboration with parents and the student's primary care provider, we are able to develop and implement healthcare plans to ensure students are ready to learn.
