Celebrating Our Cross Country Teams

Our Lion and Lionette cross country teams embody the spirit of determination, teamwork, and resilience. As they lace up their shoes and hit the trails, they not only run for victory but also build lifelong friendships and develop valuable life skills. Cross country is as much about individual performance as it is about team spirit. This camaraderie helps create a positive environment where athletes motivate each other to push their limits and celebrate their achievements together. The commitment required for cross country is significant. Runners train year-round, often running long distances in various weather conditions. This dedication not only enhances their physical stamina, but also instills a strong work ethic and discipline. Whether it’s finishing a race, achieving a personal best, or winning a team trophy, every accomplishment is celebrated. The thrill of competition and the joy of achieving goals together creates unforgettable memories. On October 21, our boys team received 1st place and our girls got 2nd at the Regional Meet in Corpus Christi! We couldn’t be more proud of our cross country teams for qualifying to State, taking place November 1st in Round Rock, Texas!
